The Leblanc Caroline GTR is a Le Mans type road legal race car introduced in 1999. The prototype was developed by a young Swiss engineer, Rolf Wyss, and it combines the latest technology and materials to produce a light and powerful car. The curvaceous monocoque is made of carbonfiber and other components include titanium and magnesium.
In terms of technical specifications the Caroline GTR is powered by a straight 4, 2.0l turbo engine with a power output of 519 hp and a maximum torque of 539 nm. Able to reach a top speed of 341 km/h, the Caroline GTR accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in just 2.70 seconds which is possible given its weight of only 785 kg.
Another special characteristic is the fact the each car can be customised for the client, even the installation of a modern Formula 1 engine can be arranged.
