The Reventon is a mid-engine sports car and with a price of 1 million Euro the most expensive Lamborghini road car so far. The Reventon debuted at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show and according to Lamborghini, only 20 units would be produced. On November 20, 2008, Lamborghini announced the delivery of the last Lamborghini Reventón.

The sports car reaches a top speed of 340 kilometres per hour (211.3 mph). The exterior design of the Reventon is inspired by fast airplanes and entirely new while its engine is identical to that of the Murciélago LP640.

According to Lamborghini's tradition, the Reventon is named after a fighting bull, Reventón meaning "esplosion" or "burst" translated from Spanish.
