The classic 911 was introduced in the autumn of 1963 and was offered with the body Targa (Vintage 1966) and Fuchs rims (1967), a slightly lengthened wheelbase and injection (1969). It was introduced as a substitute for the Porsche 356. Despite being very small, the car had two back seats.
