in Asia and will be built in Thailand. 

In Asia, the Mirage has 1.0 liter and 1.2 liter three-cylinder engines with start/stop. The cleanest version produces 99g/km of CO2 and fuel economy around 70mpg. Mitsubishi says the car will weigh less than the 929kg Volkswagen Up. 

The European spec of the car will be revealed later this year and go on sale in Europe in March 2013. 

The current Colt went on sale in 2002 and was facelifted in 2008.
