The Hyundai ix55 is the European version of the Veracruz crossover sports utility vehicle (CUV). The model was launched in 2006 and ranked 5 starts on the NHTSA crash tests for passenger and driver frontal crash and also side crash. It was powered by two engine options: a petrol 3.8l and a diesel 3.0l and is fitted with an automatic transmission.
