about this car
Presented at the 2013 Wörthersee show the TT Ultra Quattro combines the new 2.0 TFSI engine from the S3 with a lightened version of the TT's chassis. The Ultra Quattro weighs 1,111kg (2,449lb), 129kg (284.4lb) less than a standard TT, but benefits from the new 2.0 TFSI engine with 306hp and 295lb-ft of torque. The floor reinforcements and hinges are made from magnesium. The rear wing is made from raw carbon fiber. The suspension's springs are made out of fiberglass instead of steel, which are 40% lighter than conventional springs. The battery has been replaced with a lighter lithium-ion unit, and it has been moved under the driver's seat.  ...
