The brand describes the new e-Meharie-MehariCitroën e-MehariFrance, 2016 > present as the "it car," a "stylish, confident, off-beat and even sassy." With this model Citroën hopes to attract customers who are looking for an alternative vehicle with a positive outlook towards life and that is aware of trends and environment.
With design similarities with the Cactus MCactus MCitroën Cactus MFrance, 2015 > 2015, a concept launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, the e-Mehari has a convertible configuration with a muscular SUV-style bodywork. The ribbed sides of the new model design is a clear reference to the Mehari.
The e-Mehari has a retractable fabric roof that can be used to cover the front, back, side or entire vehicle. The rear seat can be folded down to increase the load space.
The body is made of molded plastic and is available in a range of radical colors. The vehicle may be customized inside and out.
To put the e-Mehari moving Citroën installed an electric motor powered by lithium metal polymer batteries offering the vehicle a range of 200 kilometers with a top speed of 110km/h. In a charging station it takes eight hours to recharge batteries, while through a domestic socket it needs 13 hours.
