, but the racing version weighs less and is tuned specifically for track use.

The Clio Cup takes the 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder from the Renaultsport and tunes it to 220hp and 200lb-ft of torque. Power is transmitted via a six-speed sequential gearbox controlled via either steering wheel-mounted paddles or gearshift. Its monocoque chassis is strengthened with a welded steel roll cage, and it rides on lightened 17in wheels with either Michelin or Dunlop tires. The suspension and axle ratios are adjustable to set the car up for specific tracks. The front brakes are enlarged to 320mm, and the rear enlarged to 260mm. There are separate master cylinders for the front and rear, and both ends come with four-piston Brembo calipers.
