Peugeot transforms 5008 in SUV

The 5008 is now 190mm longer and has a wheelbase which is 165mm longer. The height of the model has been maintained at 1640mm. This seven-seater has three rows of seats that when folded down offers the 5008 a boot space of 1124l.

 

The new Peugeot SUV gets a muscular exterior design, an upright front grille and harder-edged rear and strong door lines. This helps to set the new generation apart from the previous one which had a more va-like look.

 

The range of the 5008 will be composed of four petrol engines and five diesel. Output will start at 100 and go up to 180hp. The engines will be combined with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic. The top-range 5008 GT is fitted with a 2.0 litre diesel engine with 180hp which is exclusively sold with an automatica transmission. No all-wheel drive version will be available.
