One-off bespoke Drophead Coupé at Masterpiece London 2011

One-off bespoke Drophead Coupé at Masterpiece London 2011

When shopping in preparation for having very special guests over, you cannot resist in buying the loo paper with little flowers or patterns embossed on each sheet. It’s the small details and touches that make something just that little bit more special.

So for the people that can afford it, Rolls Royce gives you the freedom to personalize your vehicle to order in fine detail without limit.

For the renowned Masterpiece London 2011 exhibit, Rolls Royce created what is in their eyes, the perfect weekend getaway car for luxurious open top motoring. It is a handmade one-off bespoke Phantom Drophead Coupe with some unique touches. These include an Asprey jewellery case which fits into the glove box, and a luggage set in the boot. Both of these bespoke features are crafted from the highest grade hides and just the jewellery case alone took two days to craft.

Other features of this Masterpiece London 2011 Drophead Coupé are the finishes which include teak decking, mother of pearl inlays, engraved tread plates and Spirit of Ecstasy with an inscription that marks the centenary of the world’s most famous bonnet icon. This Mazarine Blue is also a new shade for Rolls Royce which compliments the existing and impressive palette of 44,000 different shades.

“Craftsmanship and attention to detail shine through in features developed at Goodwood and in partnership with Asprey. It’s a model that demonstrates the breadth of our bespoke offering, where the only limit to what we can deliver is a client’s imagination” said Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

So with that said, splash out a bit and let your imagination run wild!

I have to say, Rolls Royce came back to a class of their own. We owe this to BMW...
