The NSXNSXAcura NSXJapan, 2015 > present will be equipped with the same Sport Hybrid SH-AWD (Super Handling All Wheel Drive) system presented with the original concept, a combination of a mid-engined V6 petrol engine with an electric motor which drives the rear wheels. A pair of electric motors also moves the front wheels, with the powertrain being coupled to an automatic dual-clutch seven-speed transmission.

The power of the new NSX should be around 400hp, but the most significant factor in its sports performance should come from the torque of the three electric motors in addition to the combustion engine.
