At launch, the CLA Shooting Brake will be offered with a range of two diesel and four gasoline engines. The most efficient version is the CLA 200 CDI with a 3,9l/100km average consumption and 101g/km of CO2 emissions when combined with a seven-speed automatic dual-clutch.

Two more diesel versions with all-wheel drive will be available from September, the CLA 200 CDI 4Matic and the CLA 220 CDI 4Matic. The CLA 250 4Matic version will also be available.

Mercedes unveiled simultaneously the AMG version of the new CLA Shooting Brake. The CLA45 AMG Shooting Brake is equipped with a 2.0 turbo four-cylinder engine with 360hp and 450Nm of torque. The German brand reveals that this is its most powerful four-cylinder production engine.

Thanks to this engine the CLA45 AMG Shooting Brake can reach 100km/h in 4.7 seconds and has a top speed limited to 250km/h. The average consumption is set at 6,9l/100km and CO2 emissions of 161g/km.

The model will be officially unveiled at the 2015 edition of the Geneva Motor Show.
