Jaguar is getting ready to unveil at the 2016 edition of the Geneva Motor Show the first ever SVR car of the brand. The
Jaguar F-Type SVR hits the market in summer 2016.
The F-Type SVR was developed to take to the limits the potential of the two-seater aluminum sports car. With an announced maximum speed of 322 km/h, Jaguar says that the vehicle maintains the practicality of day-to-day usage.
Because it is lighter, faster and more powerful, Jaguar was able to increase the performance, the dynamics and the involvement of the F-Type SVR driver. The vehicle remains, however, the comfort and dual nature inherent in all Jaguar vehicles.
John Edwards, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations explains "a version
Convertible was created so that enthusiasts can better appreciate the new titanium exhaust system sound." Edwards adds that "the new F-Type SVR is the first production series Jaguar developed by Special Vehicle Operations and benefits from all our experience and knowledge of precision engineering, performance and design. "
After being introduced to journalists and to the public in Geneva the arrival to the market of the new high-end version of the
F-Type is scheduled for the summer.
