. In the past, BMW had said that there would be not be an M7 because it was not right for its executive sedan, but that belief may be shifting.

“I would love to compete in this area of the market. The money is just there to pick up. An M7 would be a much different proposition to the [Alpina] B7.

is equipped with a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 with 532hp and 538lb-ft (730Nm). It can hit 100km/h in 4.6 seconds. It uses a sport-tuned air suspension that is 7mm lower in front and 5mm in the rear compared to the standard 7 Series.

Biermann admits that an M7 is not currently in the production plan fro the M division.

“There’s so many nice things you could do with unlimited money,” he said.
