In 1919, French engineer André Citroën opened the Citroën car manufacturer and brand, with headquarters in Paris, France. The brand has been a part of the PSA Peugeot Citroën group since 1976.
Over its long history, the company has earned a reputation for technological innovations. Today, it produces a wide variety of cars, from subcompact to large MPVs and light commercial vehicles.
Citroën has also a tradition in motorsports. Its team, Citroën Racing, currently competes successfully in the World Rally Championship.
