A 2.0-liter Honda K20Z engine is responsible for giving 245 hp to the regular Atom 3 version. The top-of-the-range model, however, is given the 2.0 L 300 hp GM Ecotec engine. According to the company itself, the powerful Ariel Atom 3 goes from 0 to 60 mi/h in just 2.7 seconds and goes on up to a limit of 140/150 mi/h (230/240 km/h).
The Ariel 3 is also given an Honda 6-speed transmission with reverse.
