Zagato was founded in 1919 by Ugo Zagato in Milan, Italy. Zagato specialized in designing new bodies for cars, putting them in the podium on almost every race they entered. During the 1930s, Zagato was at its peak, being requested to design for different carmakers at once, thanks to his progressive ideas.
Zagato was the first to introduce inclined windscreens and to incorporate the headlights into the body. Nowadays the Zagato enterprise still works with high-performance carmakers.
