The boost in power to 565hp and 457lb-ft of torque, up from 420lb-ft, increased the top speed to 205mph. The new car is only available with Aston Martin's Sportshift III AMT seven-speed automatic manual transmission. It uses a hydraulically actuated clutch controlled from steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. It saves 25kg (55lb) over the previous six-speed.
