on June 29 at its auction at Blenheim Palace.

“This is an extraordinary opportunity to own a piece of Royal History. We have put a guide price on the car of between £20,000 ($31,000 or €23,580) and £25,000 ($38,800 or €29,500) but we have no idea what it will go for. Although we have not formally released the fact that the car was for sale until this press release we have already had enquiries from around the world and particularly from America,” said Managing Director of COYS Chris Routledge.

The car is a 1994 Audi Cabriolet with a 2.6-liter V6 engine that would have had 148hp when new. It has 21,000 miles (33,800km) on it. There are multiple period photographs showing Diana driving the car.

The car is currently on display at the Grange St. Paul Hotel in London, and COYS is accepting sealed bids on the car prior to the live auction on June 29.
