The Opel Meriva is a mini MPV prodduced since 2002. It is sold on all of the European markets as Opel, except for the United Kingdom, where it is called the Vauxhall Meriva. In Brazil, Mexico and Argentina it is marketed as Chevrolet. In 2010 the Meriva B, the second generation, was launched. It has a front-engine front wheel drive layout and is offered with a range of five engines and three transmissions.

The Meriva has a flexible interior, named FlexSpace. It has five seats in two rows and the second row can be moved forward and backwards, or lowered into the floor for increased boot space. Another characteristic feature are the rear-hinged rear doors, called FlexDoors.
