Volkswagen Celebrating 60 Years in the UK at Goodwood Festival of Speed

is celebrating 60 years of selling vehicles in the UK this year and will be showing off this year at the Goodwood Festival of Speed from July 12-14.

Among the VW’s on display will be the XL1XL1Volkswagen XL1Germany, 2013 > present11 photos
, which will also make a run up the hill climb driven by Le Mans champion Jacky Ickx. The car could be called the first green supercar. It emits just 21g/km of CO2 and uses a carbon fiber reinforced plastic body with a two-cylinder diesel engine powering an electric motor. It sits 1,282mm (50.5in) off the ground.
