Porsche Posts 14.1% Worldwide Sales Increase in May

had a 14.1% increase in worldwide sales for May 2012; it sold 13,331 for the month. Porsche is up 13% for the year; it has sold 56,472 cars so far this year.

Porsche sales were up 22.6% in Europe to 5,232 vehicles, up 0.3% in North America to 3,427 vehicles and up 16.9% in Asia to 4,672 vehicles.

Porsche's largest single market is still the United States where it has sold 13,448 cars this year, but China is rapidly growing. It has sold 12,486 cars there this year.
