did not have a good year. Its sales were down 19.6% to 1.7 million cars in 2012. There were some bright spots in its sales. Chinese sales were up 24% over last year.

Peugeot sales in all of Europe fell 12.6% in 2012 to about 955,000 cars and light commercial vehicles and fell 8.7% in Western Europe alone to 906,000 cars.

Peugeot launched five new cars in 2012 and among the most successful of them was the new 208208 Gen.1Peugeot 208 Gen.1France, 2012 > present109 versions

Next year, Peugeot will launch the 301 in emerging markets. It is already on sale in Turkey, Algeria and parts of Eastern Europe. In 2013, it will launch in Russia, the Middle East, more of Africa, China and Latin America. Peugeot is hoping to sell 150,000 of them worldwide in 2013.
