Instead, the brand plans to double volume while keeping its exclusivity. After selling 117,000 cars in 2011, it plans to sell 200,000 cars worldwide by 2018. 

"If the experts are right and the world markets grow to 100 million units in 2018 and Porsche would sell 200,000 units, we would have a world market share of 0.2 percent. I don't believe this would be a drastic change in exclusiveness," said Maier. 

Porsche will introduce the compact Macan SUV next year, and in the past year has began selling new versions of the Boxter and 911Porsche 911 Gen.6 [991 Series]Germany, 2011 > present37 versions
