Nissan on Track to Grow by 8% by 2016

CEO Carlos Ghosn addressed 200 investors about the state of the company in Yokohama on Tuesday. He said that the company is on track to achieve its Power 88 midterm strategy that aims to increase market share and profits by March 2016. 

Nissan did well this year despite flooding in Thailand, the tsunami in Japan and a strong yen-to-dollar exchange rate. It plans to launch 10 new models worldwide and will revive the DatsunDatsunJapan, 1931 > 198632 models

"We have a vision for the future which is very clear. We have a vision for the product, we have a vision for the technology, we have a vision for the company. Nobody can say today that Nissan does not have a vision or that Nissan does not have a strategy," said Ghosn. 

Ghosn did not address rumors about him retiring from Nissan and Renault when the Power 88 strategy ends.
