The Lexus LF-LC was one of the stars of the North American International Auto Show. While it might not look it in pictures, in person the LF-LC is beautiful with details that pictures do not quite do justice. It looks like the car's popularity on the show circuit might have it earmarked for production.
“A decision has not been taken. But we’re now up to a 50 per cent chance from a zero per cent one. Every top Toyota Motor Company manager is aware of the great reception it has received and now we’re talking about how we can do it and fit it into the product plan,” said Lexus Product Planning Chief Karl Schlicht.
Schlicht says that the LF-LC was originally designed purely as a concept. It was given to Lexus designers and engineers with the only specification being size. It never considered actually building the car. One hopes that means that Lexus will not have to neuter the design to actually produce the car.
