with 1,000hp. The SEMA Show runs from November 5 to 8.

Hyundai teamed with the engine tuners at Bisimoto Engineering to create a twin-turbocharged version of the 3.8-liter V6 R-Spec in the Genesis Coupe. The engine produces 1,000hp with steel connecting rods, upgraded camshafts, upgraded valves, higher flow fuel pump and the two turbochargers.

The concept for the car was to build a car with huge power that could still be reliably driven on the street.

“The key to producing reliable, high-horsepower engines goes well beyond the design, engineering and fabrication of performance parts. The core powerplant must be strong enough to withstand advanced modifications,” Bisi Ezerioha, owner of Bisimoto Engineering.

Bisimoto painted the car in Electric Blue with an added graphics package and added a carbon fiber trunk, stainless steel exhaust and hood from the tuner ARK. It also added a faster rear differential and coilover suspension. The interior receives a roll cage, racing seat and harness.

SEMA is the Specialty Equipment Market Association and is a trade association that represents automotive parts suppliers in the United States. Each year it holds the SEMA show where members of the association come together to show on their wares often on highly modified cars.
