Brutus vs. 1M: A BMW Drag Race for the Ages *Video*

Jeremy Clarkson released his latest DVD special, Powered Up, on November 7 in the UK, but it will not be available in the US until November 29.

Here is a clip from Powered Up showing the ultimate BMW drag race. On one side is the 46 liter V12 installed in the Brutus, an experimental BMW race car from 1925. Although the engine is from 1925, the chassis is a 1908 American-LaFrance making this car a true Frankenstein. It produces 493hp at just 1500rpm.

On the other side is a BMW 1M Coupe that uses a twin turbo, 3.0 liter V6 with 335hp.
