"We expect the announcement this afternoon from our colleagues in Bologna," said an Audi spokesman. 

Audi began its take over of Ducati on April 18. When the entire purchase is finished, Audi managers will take over the board positions from Investindustrial who had owned Ducati previously. 

This is the second major purchase by VAG this year. It completed its take over of PorschePorscheGermany, 1931 > present39 models

Ducati sold 42,000 motorcycles last year, and it made €480 million in revenue in 2011.
