about:

The Infiniti QX is a luxury SUV built by Nissan's luxury brand Infiniti since 1997 and which was originally sold in North America.

The first generation of the QX was named QX4 and was a rebadged Nissan Pathfinder. Its name was a combination of the four wheel drive and the Q borrowed from the Q45. The QX4 was also available in Japan as the Nissan Terrano Regulus. The QX4 was Infiniti's first entry into the SUV market segment.

The second generation QX started in 2004 and was based on the Nissan Armada full-size SUV. It shared the F-Alpha platform with the Nissan Titan pickup truck.

In 2010 Infiniti unveiled the third generation QX at the New York International Auto Show, which shared its platform with the Nissan Patrol.
