Honda released the sixth generation Civic in 1996. The new model kept its previous counterparts’ renowned handling. A significant facelift, including exterior and interior improvements, was made to the Civic for 1999. The sixth generation model was produced until 2000 at several Honda plants, namely in Japan, United States, Canada, England, Brazil, South Africa and Pakistan.
