First built by RaceTech in 2000, the ESTfield is a Lotus 7 replica which is in most of its specifications similar to Colin Chapman's 1957 design.
The idea of building the ESTfield was born when RaceTech's owner/manager, Valter Teppan, made several trips to England with his son Indrek and decided to use RaceTech to create the replicas of the Lotus 7, after a relatively low-cost racing series using Lotus 7 type cars caught Valter's eye.
