Introduced in the market in 1986, the Dodge Dakota is a mid-size pickup truck produced by Chrysler's Ram division. The Dakota was marketed by Dodge from its introduction through 2009.

In 2009, Fiat announced that the slow selling truck would be discontinued in 2011.
