The BMW-Isetta cooperation is the result of carmaker BMW purchasing the Isetta make in 1955, becoming its owner. BMW went on to majorly improve and redesign the engineering of the original Isetta car, although the general aspects of the car’s Italian styling were kept.
The BMW-Isetta alliance ended in 1962, as BMW stopped producing Isetta cars.
