The BMW 116d was launched in 2009. It is the 1st generation of the compact model. Powered by a straight 4 1995cc engine, this car has a power output of 115 hp. The performance of the 116d is reflected on the top speed of 200 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100km/h in 10.20 seconds. This rear wheel drive version features a manual gearbox. In terms of efficiency, this compact variant's combined fuel consumption is fixed at 4.4 l/100km. The BMW 1 Series features rack & pinion steering, and it wears disc brakes. As for the seating arrangement, it offers space for up to 5 persons.
