“We set an important milestone for Audi in the past year: We achieved our intermediate strategic goal of 1.5 million deliveries two years earlier than planned, and in fact comfortably exceeded it. This means that in the past four years alone, Audi has attracted more than 600,000 new customers,” said Audi Chairman Rupert Stadler.
In Europe, Audi sold 732,300 cars, down 0.9% from 2012. Sales fell 5% in Germany, 8.3% in France, 6.1% in Italy and 3.2% in Spain. The losses were offset by 14.9% growth in the UK and 7.9% growth in Russia.

In the Asia-Pacific region, Audi sales grew 20.9% to 579,100 cars. Of those, 491,989 were sold in China, up 21.2%. The Indian market also grew 11.1% in 2013 to 10,002 cars. The growth in China was boosted by local production of more models like the Q3Audi Q3Germany, 2011 > present72 versions
